Wage, EMI payments: RBI changes to National Automated Clearing House (NACH) regulations will allow transactions of electricity, gas, telephone, water, salary, mutual funds and pension related transactions to take place even during the holidays.
These new changes will take effect on August 1, 2021. According to RBI, Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS), NACH services will be available 24x7. NACH is managed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
ATM Cash Withdraw: Automated teller machines (ATM) charges will go up from August 1, according to another order issued by the RBI in June. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has offered to increase the interchange fee by ₹ 2 in the wake of the bank's concern that the management of ATMs has become a burden. From August 1, the interchange fee for each financial transaction at ATMs will increase from Rs 15 to Rs 17 and for non-financial transactions from Rs 5 to Rs 6. Currently, up to 90 crore debit cards of all banks are in use across the country.
Cost of IPPB doorstep services: India Post Payments Bank, which has been providing free of cost till now, will no longer have to pay for doorstep services. IPPB revises doorstep banking charges and interest rates on savings accounts. India Post Payments Bank Doorstep Banking charges are applicable from 01 August 2021. Currently, there are no charges for Doorstep Banking. From August 1, 2021, every customer will have to pay Rs.20 + GST under banking charges for IPPB doorstep request. This decision appears to have been made because the same customer made multiple requests.
ICICI Bank service charges: ICICI Bank, a leading private bank in India, has announced revisions in cash transactions, ATM interchange and check book charges for its domestic savings customers. The changes will take effect from August 1, according to the ICICI Bank website. Charge revision is applicable on all cash transactions. ICICI Bank allows a total of 4 free cash transactions per month at ATMs. After that the charges will apply to the transaction. The bank will charge ₹ 20 for each financial transaction and ₹ 8.50 for the non-financial transaction. From August 1, the cash transaction limit at ICICI Bank customers' home branch will be free up to Rs 1 lakh per month. Pay ₹ 1,000 to 5 for every transaction over Rs. The minimum fee is ₹ 150.
LPG prices: Gas agencies revise LPG prices on the first day of every month. On July 1, LPG prices were hiked by Rs. 26 increased. Will it grow again this month? Will it decrease? Will be released on August 1.
Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT): The Central Board of Direct Taxes has given several relaxations in the case of electronic filing of 15 CA and 15 CB forms. The previous deadline of July 15 has been extended to August 15.
