Banks will work next Sunday.. What kind of services will be provided


Banks are closed on Sundays and holidays. That is, there is a doubt among many whether the banks will work even on the financial year ending day of March 31. This year March 31 falls on Sunday. But everyone may think that banks are a holiday. But the Reserve Bank of India has said that the banks will work on Sunday, March 31. RBI has announced that all 33 banks will be working next Sunday in relation to public and private sector. But the Reserve Bank has given clarity on what kind of transactions can be done on that day. All government transactions are allowed. Incoming tax payments, government transactions related to RBI office and also electronic transactions can be done.


These services can be availed..

NEFT, RTGS: On March 31, RBI said transactions can be done through Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) and Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) till 12 midnight.


Check Clearance: The Reserve Bank of India has said that any checks relating to government accounts can be presented at the bank for clearing.


Reserve Bank said that the services related to pension payments from central and state governments, Special Deposit Scheme 1975, Public Provident Fund Scheme 1968, Kisan Vikas Patra 2014, Sukanya Samriddhi Account and Senior Citizen Savings Scheme 2004 will be available this Sunday.
