TET disturbances for conduct of DSC
Hyderabad, March 5 (Namaste Telangana): Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is looming for many candidates competing for Mega DSC. Due to non-conduct of TET before DSC, a situation has arisen in which teachers give up hope on the qualifications
Especially those who have recently completed D.D. and B.D. and those who are in the final year of these two courses are losing the opportunity to appear for DSC due to lack of TET. The decision of the state government has come as a thunderbolt for those who have not qualified in the past and are waiting for another chance. Issuing DSC notification directly without TET has become a hope for them. Those who are preparing for DSC day and night after spending thousands of dollars have to put their studies aside and hit the road for justice. Due to Revanth Reddy government's ill-advised decision, all of them are protesting on the roads in bonfires. Recently, the government has released a notification in the name of Mega DSC for filling up 11,062 teacher posts. But earlier TET was conducted before DSC. But now they have issued DSC notification without TET. Due to this, those who did not qualify by writing TET in the past, those who have completed D.Ed and B.E.D in recent times have come to the road to give themselves an opportunity. Recently all the candidates besieged the Directorate of School Education (DSE). As they did not get any response from the government, they intensified their concerns
Candidates studying in final year and final semester of B.Ed are given the opportunity to apply for the posts of School Assistant (SA). Candidates who are in the second year of D.E.D. have been given an opportunity to apply for the posts of Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT). However, it is mentioned in the rules that all kinds of qualifications should be obtained by the time of certificate verification. But when it comes to Tet, the rules state that you have to qualify in Tet. That means the candidates should qualify in TET before the notification of DSC. In continuation of this, a requirement has been imposed to upload the TET marks in the DSC online application. It is noteworthy that two conflicting provisions are found in the same notification. Candidates are asking what is more unfair than this
And the TET exam always puts tension on the candidates. Especially SA Biology and Linguistics students have to read subjects that are not related to them for TET, they fail in the exams due to lack of knowledge about them and are unable to qualify in TET. In Paper-2, from 2014 till now, except for 2022, less than 30 percent candidates have always passed. In the Tet conducted last year, only 15 percent passed. It is in this context that the unemployed want to organize Tet once again
I am studying DD Secondary only for SGT job. Mega DSC will be conducted soon.. This time I am preparing day and night to get a job as a teacher. The government hastily issued a notification without holding Tet. How fair is this? With the absence of Tet, now there is no chance for DSC. Due to this, we had to put aside our studies for a week and hit the road. I don't know when the DSC notification will be issued in the future. So now DSC should be conducted after Tet
In the past, Tet papers were given strictly. Due to this many people are not qualified. Some qualified but got low marks. Tet weightage is being implemented in DSC. In this case TET score is important. So Tet should be organized. Revanth Reddy said that if the KCR government issues a DSC notification with 5 thousand posts, there are 21 thousand vacancies, this is not a mega DSC, but a fake DAC. Then why was not notification given to 21 thousand. Why have only 6000 posts been added to the old ones? Congress leaders deceived the unemployed before coming to power. Tribal DSC should issue notification for agency area posts
