AP: No participation in election duties ... AP NGO'S Union 


  1.   The AP NGO community was furious over the local bodies' election notification issued by the state election commission.  AP NGO state president Venkatramireddy has made it clear that he has repeatedly informed the Election Commissioner that it is not possible to hold elections in the state. *

  3.   The Chief Secretary to the State Government has also explained to the Election Commissioner that elections are not possible.  Corona demanded a halt to the election as new strains, vaccinations and bird flu were rampant. *

  5.   Corona vaccination dry run is going on in the state.  More than 9 lakh employees are said to be on duty.  Will the Election Commissioner protect the lives of employees?  Asked. *

  7.   Corona said many employees and people lost their lives.  They demanded that the notification of the election be withdrawn.
  8.  Government Employees Union Chairman Venkatramireddy said that even if they are suspended, they will not participate in election duties. *

  10.   They said that they will be accountable to the government .. they will only follow the orders of the government .. they have nothing to do with the orders of the Election Commission.  With the state government on the one hand and government employees making it clear that they will not participate in the conduct of the elections, it is interesting to see where the whole affair is going. *
