Choice in Neet
Central education department reveals key decision will be in last syllabus
Like JEE Main, this time Neet will also be given a choice in the question paper. To this end, the central education department has taken a key decision.
The National Examinations Board (NTA) announced a few days ago that 75 out of 90 questions in JEE Main should be answered.
The Center on Tuesday clarified that there will be a choice of questions in NEET as well. JEE said that NEET will also have the same syllabus as Main.
How do you do it offline?
Because JEE is the main online test, the software is prevented from identifying the answers to the questions beyond the limit in the choice questions. Neet will be done offline (pen-paper). The question then is how to do it, said Neet, JEE training expert, Dean Shankar Rao of Srichaitanya College.
At present 180 questions at the rate of 4 marks per question .. 720 marks question paper is being given. He estimates that 45 questions will be asked from each subject and that it will be possible to increase it to 50. Experts believe that there is a possibility of setting some rules given the choice. About 15 lakh people are competing for NEET across the country. About 1.20 lakh people are applying from Telugu states. Neet date has not been finalized yet.
Inter pass is enough
To join BTech in IITs, NITs, Triple ITs, 75% marks in Inter was required. That provision has been lifted for the coming academic year (2021-22). Due to Corona, the center has given the option of passing the Inter / 12th class with minimum marks for the academic year 2020-21 and gaining admission with JEE Main / Advanced ranks. The Union Ministry of Education has extended it to next year as well
