CM Revanth in Udyoga Atmiya Sammelan
Hyderabad, March 10 (Namaste Telangana): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has dashed the hopes of employees on PRC and pending DAs. The union leaders said that the CM said that he cannot make any announcement in this regard now and will make an announcement after the cabinet meeting. On Sunday, at the Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Center (MCRHRD) in Jubilee Hills, a spirited meeting was held with government employees, teachers and labor unions. Revanth Reddy, Minister Sridhar Babu, Adviser to CM Vem Narender Reddy, MLC Kura Raghottam Reddy, Professor Kodandaram and others were present. Speaking on the occasion, the leaders of the unions said that the Chief Minister had made these comments. Revanth's comments have left him deeply disappointed. The trade unions felt that there would be an announcement on the cancellation of crucial CPS and the release of pending DAs. Congress has included these two points in its manifesto. He expressed great displeasure over the CM's announcement that the cabinet and ministerial sub-committee would take a decision on these issues. He expressed his concern that although it was expected that there would be a clear guarantee on the pending bills in general transfers, health cards and e-Kuber, they said that they would resolve it, but they did not get a clear guarantee. Some associations are objecting to the fact that in future meetings will be held with recognized associations instead of registered associations. TNGO General Secretary Maram Jagadeeswar, TGO President Eluri Srinivas Rao, PRTU TS State President Pingili Sripal Reddy from TTJAC, Sadanandam from JACTO, Ashok Kumar from USPSC including Singareni, INTUC, Staff Nurse, Vidyuttu and KGBV union leaders spoke in the meeting.
Decisions to be discussed with communities
The CM assured that the government will take the responsibility of solving the problems of the employees. They said that they are paying the wages to the employees on the same date but they are not promoting it. He said that notification has been issued to Mega DSC for 11 thousand posts and 30 thousand jobs have been filled in three months. He said that he is working 18 hours a day and putting the regime in a rut. 95 percent employees were praised for working honestly. He made it clear that there should be departmental associations. He said that a ministerial sub-committee has been appointed to solve the problems of employees. He clarified that no decisions will be taken without discussing with the communities. He said that a decision will be taken soon on the continuation of 1,100 retired employees in various departments. The meeting also discussed about bringing facial recognition attendance system from the secretariat to the lower level. He said that after speaking to the Governor, Professor Kodandaram will be sent to the Legislative Council, and if he is an MLC, the Legislative Council will be honored. 2008 DSC assured to do justice to the affected candidates
No entry with cell phones
Security personnel imposed strict restrictions during the meeting with the CM. Cell phones are banned. The leaders of the employers' and teachers' unions who attended the meeting were allowed inside only after depositing their phones outside. Before the arrival of the CM, the leaders of many communities were pushed, so they were not allowed to have cell phones. Congress leader Harshavardhan Reddy, who participated in the meeting, was not allowed to speak by the security personnel. After getting an opportunity to meet him, he tried to explain many problems. The CM's security staff signaled that it is enough and sat down without giving a full speech
