RTC in profits with Mahalakshmi scheme

Hyderabad, March 12 (Namaste Telangana): Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has claimed that TSRTC has made profits due to the free travel of women in buses under the Mahalakshmi scheme.


He said that because women are using the free travel facility, all the RTC buses are going full. He said that the government has always been paying women's ticket money to RTC. He said that it is the responsibility of every citizen to protect RTC which is the flagship of Telangana. He reminded that 21 percent fitment has been announced for the RTC staff in recognition of their hard work and hard work. Telangana RTC's Green Metro Express non-AC buses were launched at the statue of Dr BR Ambedar on NTR Marg, Hyderabad on Tuesday. Along with Bhatti Vikramarka, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and Road Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy were present as chief guests. They flagged off 22 eco-friendly electric buses. Later, the ministers went to the secretariat in those buses. Earlier, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said that TSRTC is flourishing due to the Mahalakshmi scheme, every bus is plying with 100 percent occupancy and the Mahalakshmi scheme is also being implemented in these buses. Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, RTC MD VC Sajjanar, Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender, Transport Commissioner Jyoti Buddhaprakash, Khairatabad Corporator Vijaya Reddy and others participated in the program.


Action should be taken against organizers: CPM

CPM State Secretary Tammine Veerabhadra criticized the temple administrators for caste discrimination against Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramara and Religious Affairs Minister Komda Surekha in the Yadadri temple. Tammineni demanded an inquiry into the incident and those responsible for caste discrimination should be punished according to law.
