Good news for SC, ST, BC candidates competing for Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) posts in Hyderabad..! The government has decided to reduce the percentage of qualifying marks in the inter for this category. To this extent, procedures have been formulated for the filling up of teacher posts. District wise roster points, subject wise number of posts announced. It has been announced that the DSC will be conducted according to the old syllabus. It is known that the state government has announced Mega DSC. Applications are being accepted from Monday. 500 people applied on the first day. Previously, the minimum qualifying marks for candidates competing for SGT posts was 50% for general category and 45% for SC, ST and BC. In the latest guidelines, the qualifying marks for reserved category (SC, ST, BC) have been reduced to 40 percent in INTER. Candidates competing for the posts of School Assistant (SA) must have 50 marks for general category and 45 marks for reservation category. Those who are currently studying teacher courses like BED and DED are also given an opportunity to apply. But.. all of them should have already qualified in Tet. They should have completed BED/DED by the time of verification of certificates
Edit option coming soon!
The officials have decided to give edit option to the candidates who have already applied for DSC in a day or two. All of them have applied as per the previous notification. At that time, those who had less posts in their own districts submitted applications for posts in neighboring districts. Those who applied earlier need not apply again. However.. in the background of increased posts in their own districts.. the software is not allowing the candidates to make changes in the previous application. Officials said that they will make the edit option available to such people

Panjagutta: 'We studied B.Tech with hard work...we did B.E.D. with the hope of becoming a teacher. We were selected after appearing in the Gurukula Upadhyaya recruitment exam conducted by the government. But we were put on hold. BTech BED candidates appealed that the CM should respond and give us jobs. Raghavendra, Aparna, Vineeta, Shivani Rathod and others who studied B.Tech and B.E.D. and were selected as teachers spoke at Somajiguda Press Club. He said that 97 B.Tech and B.E.D. candidates were selected in the Gurukula Upadhyaya recruitment exam. He said that while everyone was happy that the measure had arrived, they were put on hold. Appointment orders were given to the others at LB Stadium on Monday and Revanth asked the government to take an initiative and provide them with jobs.
