Doses exceeding 50 crore 

   Delhi: India has surpassed the rare milestone in Kovid-19 vaccination.  The number of vaccine doses provided to the people in the country crossed 50 crore on Friday.  A total of 50,03,48,866 doses have been delivered so far, according to the Union Ministry of Health.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that he wanted to achieve this feat in vaccination.  He emphasized that India's war with Kovid had reached a crucial stage.  He expressed the desire to take the vaccination program further and provide vaccinations to all our citizens.  This is a historic record, said Union Medical and Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya.  Nationwide, 43,29,673 doses were administered in a single day on Friday.  It has been 203 days since the start of Kovid vaccination in the country by the 6th of this month.  So far 17,23,20,394 people aged 18-44 have received the first dose and 1,12,56,317 the second dose.  In 5 states (Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh) over one crore doses were given to this age group.
